Two of Meaford's gardens/flower beds need someone or a group to adopt them. One bed is strictly perennials and the other is mainly perennials with some annuals. Usual garden duties: water, weed, deadhead. You set your schedule but asked to keep a reasonable time between gardening times to maintain attractiveness and health of the beds.

This activity has a flexible schedule and occurs between Friday, June 19, 2009 and Friday, October 30, 2009

The park is located on 8.5 acres on land along the Bighead River (at Edwin Street across the river from the Legion) donated in 1963 by the Town of Meaford.

Formed in 1994 to honour the life and story of Beautiful Joe adn the literary and humane achievements of Margaret Marshall Saunders.
